FLEET CO-ORDINATOR
£23,400 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6C)

We’re looking for a Fleet Co-ordinator to join the Fleet team team within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You’ll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of ‘co-operating to build more value for member-owners every day’.
With more than 2500 vehicles to manage, our fleet team plays a key role in making sure all our vehicles are legally compliant and available to our colleagues and branches when they need them. As a Fleet Co-ordinator, you’ll become an expert in fleet policies and procedures, and we’ll look to you to support colleagues with a range of queries, providing outstanding customer service. And with some exciting projects taking place, such as our transition to having an electrified fleet, this is a great time to join us, develop your skills and make a positive contribution to the way we do business.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Support colleagues with complex fleet related queries by email and phone, providing excellent customer service
- Manage the company car process, allocating colleagues to company vehicles as per company policies
- Investigate complaints
- Carry out administrative tasks regarding MOT, services, insurance, or fuel cards, keeping accurate records to make sure that all our vehicles are compliant
- Work collaboratively with your immediate team, field colleagues and branches
- Occasionally drive a varied range of vehicles to take them to their allocated spot in the car park
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO HAVE
- Great organisational skills, with the ability to respond to conflicting priorities and manage own workload
- Outstanding communication skills, with a talent for building positive relationships and managing difficult conversations
- A keen eye for detail and accuracy, to keep critical records up-to-date and compliant
- Good IT skills, across Excel and wider MS Office suite
- A full UK driver’s license and the confidence to drive a range of vehicles if required
