Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with over 25 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Fleet Coordinator to oversee our fleet operations based in our St Mary’s yard. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be managing a fleet which consists of approximately 300+ mixed fleet including light and heavy vehicles throughout NSW, VIC & QLD. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include;

  • Ensuring that our vehicle registers are maintained, and all vehicles are registered in line with state requirements.
  • Coordinating servicing and inspections for vehicle maintenance.
  • Coordinating disposals and end of lease returns.
  • End of month invoicing and reconciliation for fuel and toll usage.
  • Coordinating vehicle allocations for new starters.
  • Coordinating the allocation of Fleet from state to state when needed.
  • Assisting with breakdowns and accidents and ensuring insurance claims are managed effectively as well as managing infringements.
  • Assisting in developing strategies to improve safety and reduce accidents.
  • Monitoring and reporting on associated fleet expenses to the Plant Manager ensuring control of associated costs.
  • Additional duties and assignments as directed by the Plant Manager to ensure the efficient and effective management of our fleet.
