Position: Fleet Manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Fleet experience in a contracting or service organization with multiple locations.
  • Successful history developing and enforcing fleet policies and procedures.
  • Proven experience with FMC, FMC software, telematics, fuel card programs and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a variety of complex projects/issues
  • Strong time-management, organizational skills, attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in highly decentralized organizations
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Manage the relationship with our FMC partner, ensuring they are effectively meeting the needs of RCA and the individual RCA Business Units.
  • Develop and enforce RCA Fleet Policies that address all areas of fleet operations including, but not limited to, vehicle acquisition and disposition, fuel usage, proper vehicle maintenance, licensing and compliance, environmental impact issues, fleet risk management, and driver accountability.
  • Work with our FMC and the individual RCA BUs to develop Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) metrics, other fleet related metrics and an annual vehicle replenishment strategy.
  • Understand, share and drive best fleet practices among the RCA Business Units.
  • Communicate with business leaders and RCA management to provide necessary requests and obligations with current fleet.
  • Represent RCA on the First Services Fleet Cohort team.
  • Drive the integration process with regards to fleet for newly acquired business units.
  • Ensures compliance with government and state rules and regulations.
