FLEET OPERATIONS MANAGER

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Fleet Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fleet within the Infrastructure division. This full-time, permanent position involves developing and implementing strategic plans for the lifecycle management of the Council’s fleet assets. The role emphasises sustainable practises and operational efficiency, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet community expectations.
Key responsibilities include overseeing fleet and workshop maintenance, managing building cleaning services, directing metal fabrication workshop operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. The Fleet Operations Manager will also monitor performance metrics to facilitate informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
