With a huge focus on improving and optimizing the vessel performance, we are looking for a new team member to join our motivated and innovative fleet performance department in Hamburg. The team mon-itors and steers vessel performance related activities within the organization and ensures that require-ments as well as improvements are implemented to Wilhelmsen Ahrenkiel vessels worldwide.

Your responsibilities:

  • Take an active contribution to the decarbonization journey for our managed fleet.
  • Ensure compliance with, e.g., CII, EU ETS, and FuelEU Maritime.
  • Analyse noon reporting and sensor data to identify fuel-saving potential.
  • Review noon reporting and sensor data quality.
  • Prepare and present fleet performance reports to different stakeholders.
  • Develop best practices around fuel-efficient vessel operation and implement these into the daily operation on board.
  • Visit the vessels for an active dialog with our crew and provide practical guidance on fuel efficiency and reporting.
  • Participate in the development of further fleet performance data analytics and insights.
  • Encourage crew involvement through regular crew seminars and on-signer briefings.

Your profile:

  • Maritime background and related job experience with a high affinity for software & data
  • Experiences in fleet performance and compliance
  • Knowledge of BI software such as Tableau and Power BI is preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Organized and team-oriented
  • A high degree of reliability and loyalty
  • Good knowledge of MS Office package
  • EU working entitlement is essential
