Bringing passion. Being bold. Always caring. Owning it. They’re the values that make us LNER.
Are you on board?
At London North Eastern Railway (LNER), we’re searching for a dedicated Specialist to help shape the future of our cutting-edge Class 897 fleet. You’ll travel to manufacturing sites in the UK and abroad, conducting inspections, leading audits, and recommending improvements that will keep our fleet safe, reliable, and ready for service. As the project progresses, you’ll also support network testing and ensure a smooth transition into operational service, liaising with maintainers to safeguard performance throughout the train’s lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be an integral part of LNER’s Fleet Procurement Project team.
  • Lead audits and inspections during production and testing phases.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to drive continuous improvements in quality.
  • Ensure new fleet designs meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
