Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We have a great new opportunity to join the Volkswagen (VW) Passenger Cars as a Fleet Sales Planning & Performance Manager on a full time basis for a period of 12 months.
WHAT YOU COULD BE DOING:
- Reporting into the Head of Direct Sales, this role will be responsible for the management of the brand’s true fleet car flow to achieve required sales targets by model and channel.
- You will ensure correct model volume and channel planning to minimise stock ageing, tactical costs and maximise return on sales and liquidity for the brand.
- You will be responsible for influencing and gaining agreement with a range of stakeholders within the brand and the VW fleet business partner network to ensure sales and order take performance in the market is met.
- You will manage the fleet sales performance of the VW fleet business partner network to ensure objectives are achieved and adequate operational actions are implemented to support turnaround when this is risk.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU CAN BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Demonstrate commercial acumen and market insight experience.
- Experience in engaging and communicating with key stakeholders in a variety of business settings with the ability to influence and negotiate to a senior level.
- Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills and a logical and methodical approach.
- Ability to identify risks and opportunities and have proven success on addressing both.
- Well organised with high attention to detail.
- IT proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
