Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred proven flight operations experience, with a clear understanding of permit requirements and the various processes to obtain them.
- A thorough understanding of A/C documentation.
- A proactive working mentality with the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy to the highest of levels.
- A general understanding of the flight operations procedures.
- Previous experience in airport slot requests, overflight application procedures would be preferable.
- Hold five GCSE’s at grade 9-4 (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English.
- A strong working knowledge of MS Office packages including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Able to work occasional weekends to meet business demands.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
- Responsible for obtaining all overflight and landing permits/rights for DHL Air’s worldwide operations and supplying the information to the Flight Operations Team to execute the flight.
- Maintain and update the various FAOC’s held globally.
- Produce monthly reports for US Port Authority invoicing.
- Be close to all aspects of traffic rights and regulations.
- Liaise with OCC regarding schedule changes and impact on permits/permissions.
- Take lead for mid term Network change requests.
- Ensure all permissions are held for flights into/out of the EU block.
