Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Preferred proven flight operations experience, with a clear understanding of permit requirements and the various processes to obtain them.
  • A thorough understanding of A/C documentation.
  • A proactive working mentality with the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy to the highest of levels.
  • A general understanding of the flight operations procedures.
  • Previous experience in airport slot requests, overflight application procedures would be preferable.
  • Hold five GCSE’s at grade 9-4 (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English.
  • A strong working knowledge of MS Office packages including but not limited to Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Able to work occasional weekends to meet business demands.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

  • Responsible for obtaining all overflight and landing permits/rights for DHL Air’s worldwide operations and supplying the information to the Flight Operations Team to execute the flight.
  • Maintain and update the various FAOC’s held globally.
  • Produce monthly reports for US Port Authority invoicing.
  • Be close to all aspects of traffic rights and regulations.
  • Liaise with OCC regarding schedule changes and impact on permits/permissions.
  • Take lead for mid term Network change requests.
  • Ensure all permissions are held for flights into/out of the EU block.
