DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Formal Systems Engineering Training
- 1+ years of design engineering experience
- 1+ years of System Engineering experience
- 1+ years working in the aerospace industry
- Exposure to industry standard Flight Safety Standards (RCC-319, etc.)
- Exposure to Australian Flight Safety policy (Flight Safety Code, Launch and Returns Act / Rules, etc.)
Responsibilities:
- Contributing to flight safety across all company programs and products
- Supporting to maintain the company’s SQE certification
- Performing Risk Hazard Analyses as required
- Performing and contributing to Orbital Debris Assessments as required
- Supporting the development of Flight Safety Subsystems
- Engaging and coordinating with Range Safey
- Engaging and assisting prepare information for external regulatory agencies
- Ensuring that engineering activities are conducted and documented in accordance with Gilmour Space policies, plans and procedures
- Supporting the Team Lead as required
- Other duties as requested by Managemen
