Flight Safety Expert / Auditor / Safety Officer - Technical Operations (m/f/x)

AeroLogic is a modern cargo airline based at Leipzig/Halle Airport. It was founded in 2007 as joint venture of Lufthansa Cargo and DHL Express. With a very modern fleet of 22 Boeing 777F AeroLogic mostly serves destinations in Asia and the USA. AeroLogic has daily connections to Hong Kong and several other destinations like Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai and Chicago.

REQUIREMENTS

Must have:

• Degree in an aviation or transport related education, or equivalent practical knowledge and skills (at least 5 years experience)
• Be able to receive a ZÜP
• Willingness to travel
• Fluency in German and English written and spoken
• Profound computer literacy and knowledge in MS Office applications

Preferable:

• Work experience in the business of Continuing Airworthiness Management, Aircraft Maintenance or as active compliance auditor
• Work experience in the field of occurrence investigation
• Experienced in IQSMS, AMOS or Web Manuals

• Certified training as aviation auditorComprehensive knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO and Part-145

Compliance Monitoring

• Independent preparation, implementation and documentation of audits and inspections in the technical area
• Independent tracking of corrective and preventive actions and verification of the implementation
• Support the continuous monitoring of safety & compliance standards
• Support the revision of manuals, procedures and checklists within the department

Safety Management

• Initial processing and assessing of technical safety occurence reports including timely preparation and conveyance of mandatory occurence reports
• Identify hazards evolving from occurence reports and if necessary, publish mitigations by means of safety recommendations or initiate an internal investigation
• Lead of safety investigation of incidents and occurrences or be an active part of the investigation team
• Create and issue the internal safety publications
• Assess the safety impact related to the introduction of operational changes, new technologies or for the specific occasions
