Description:
- Diagnose and correct complex problems on training devices
- Perform Preventive Maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
- Utilize Maintenance Management System to record and track maintenance activities.
- Provide technical training for other technicians.
- Perform daily readiness checks on designated simulators
- Effectively supports the technical teams with re-qualification of all simulators
- Able to function as a Subject Matter Expert on at least 1 disciplines
- To supervise the carrying out of Qualification Test Guides and supply documentation as and when required by the appropriate Authority or as necessary
- Assist Engineering Team with modifications, design changes, and software enhancements.
- Perform refurbishment and hardware modifications.
- Actively pursue knowledge and skills to enhance ability as a technical expert.
- Perform software changes to correct problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
- Coordinate all maintenance activities within an assigned group and / or project.
- Assist Group Lead and/or Maintenance Planner & Controller in day-to-day operation of maintenance activities.
- Learn and comply with CAE Compliance Management System.
- Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.
- Perform logistics duties, including parts received, repair, and testing/validation.
- Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as required.
- Perform administrative tasks as required.
- Perform tasks to support the technical services group as required.
- Is compliant with local and company Health, Safety and Environment rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned
