JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Supervisor to join our esteemed team at Piva Modern Italian.
The Floor Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dining room while providing exceptional guest service. This position requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of fine dining service standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Floor Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role in a fine dining restaurant.
  • In-depth knowledge of fine dining service standards, including table service, wineservice, and guest etiquette.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Passion for providing exceptional guest service and exceeding expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service Oversight:
  • Supervise and guide the service team, ensuring all guests receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly and discreetly.
  • Ensure all service standards are consistently met, including greeting guests warmly, taking accurate orders, and delivering food and beverages promptly and professionally.
  • Assist servers with challenging situations, such as handling guest complaints or resolving service issues.
  • Team Leadership & Management: o Lead, motivate, and mentor the service team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Schedule and assign shifts, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet service demands.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to servers.
  • Assist with the training and development of new service staff.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all members of the restaurant team.
