Job Overview: The Floral Designer & Customer Service Representative is responsible for creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements while delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a combination of artistic skills, floral design knowledge, and strong communication abilities to assist customers in selecting the perfect flowers for their needs, whether for events, gifts, or home decor. The individual will also provide excellent customer support, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term client relationships.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience in floral design, with a strong understanding of design principles and floral care.
• Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to engage with customers, address concerns, and offer helpful suggestions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, especially during peak seasons.
• Creative and artistic with a keen eye for detail and colour coordination.
• Basic knowledge of sales and upselling techniques.
• Ability to lift and move heavy floral arrangements, stand for extended periods, and work with a variety of flowers and plants.
• Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems, cash handling, and inventory management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certification or formal training in floral design (e.g., from a floral design school or association).
• Experience in a customer-facing role in a retail or service setting.

  Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week
