Flow Loop Technician (Oil & Gas Industry/ West)

The client is the world’s leading oilfield services provider which specialized in the manufacturing of electrical submergible pumps for the oil and gas industry.
Position: Flow Loop Technician (12 months contract)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 330pm-1230am (eligible for OT)
Working Place: West Singapore

JOB SUMMARY:

A Flow Loop technician handles all technical duties for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Flow Loop. They perform tests, measurements, instrument control, and process controls, and diagnose issues in systems, processes, and test facility maintenance.

• Operate the flow loop for manufacturing and engineering tests.
• Conduct scheduled testing and to maintain the test results.
• Perform regular scheduled maintenance of the flow loop.
• Perform basic electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Report to Flow Loop Lead on the daily task and progress.
• Perform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacing components as required.
• Perform assembly of Device Under Test (DUT) according to the test requirements.
• Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard condition to the Lead.
• Ability to understand the test set-up and perform/conduct test on daily basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

• NITEC/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering /in any discipline.
• Experience in test facility operations and maintenance.
• Mechanical experience is necessary ; Electrical experience would be an advantage.
• Experience or knowledge on SCADA control system , and flow control operation
• Ability to understand f low control, flow meters, control valves and manual valves.
