Description:

This position is part of the Fluid Fabrication team, a critical part of the organisation, which is located in Redruth. You will be required to work rotating shifts, incorporating detailed and intricate work.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Operate equipment in a continuous production/processing operation while monitoring meters, gauges and other associated tools to ensure adherence to production/process specifications
  • Follow engineering drawings, SOPs and similar procedures
  • Troubleshoot and assemble mechanical units, machined parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies and assemblies using miscellaneous tools

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High levels of dexterity, coupled with excellent practical skills,
  • Ability to read & understand engineering drawings and focus for periods of time on work in hand
  • Ability to operate equipment in a continuous production/processing operation

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Manufacturing processes, preferably having worked in a production environment previously
  • Undertaking rotating shift work patterns
