As a Fluid Power Engineer working within the No.6 Blast Furnace Reline (6BFR) team, you will work alongside highly skilled multidisciplinary teams, ensuring all engineering work is carried out efficiently and effectively, with quality and safety front of mind. You will also:
- maintain an awareness of the design management plan and ensure its deployment across the assigned work packages
- ensure relevant fluid power design information is provided to the 6BFR Construction team in a timely and efficient manner
- where applicable, provide fluid power contractual support and technical support to the 6BFR Construction team
- ensure that fluid power commissioning activities within the assigned work packages are planned and resourced
- actively contribute to the 6BFR fluid power commissioning process
- complete assigned tasks to allocated schedule and budget, reporting progress to lead engineers
- apply engineering standards and practises to all new and refurbished fluid power assets
