Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. College preferred. Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with staff.
Training & Experience: Prior experience in restaurant service, working knowledge as a secretary or administrative assistant. Good computer skills and customer service background required. Must have Florida driver’s license.
Job Knowledge: General knowledge of hotel/resort operations and procedures. Experience performing basic clerical skills including computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite and reservation programs) with typing capabilities of approximately 50 wpm.
Job Summary: Support the Director of F&B as well as act as a liaison to the Director of Restaurants. Provide administrative support to the Food & Beverage team, act as a liaison with both internal and external clients, and handle day-to-day operational responsibilities within F&B Department. Work in tandem with conference services and catering team to increase productivity and provide exceptional customer service relating to restaurant reservations and special events.
Physical Abilities: Must be able to work on feet, moving about for several hours at a time must be able to work under busy conditions.

Responsibilities:
1.Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays and split shifts.
2.Arrive to work on time, consistently.
3.Upon entering the property, arrive in proper uniform, crisp, clean, and in good repair.
4.Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.
5.Attend all required training, safety courses, office and departmental meetings.
6.Report safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
7.Become proficient on all appropriate equipment and safety features.
8.Greet member and guests by name whenever possible, always show genuine care and concern.
9.Be an ambassador of Epping Forest Yacht Club at all times.
