Purpose
As Food & Beverage Manager you will assume full responsibility for managing every facet of the food and beverage department at Peppers Craigieburn including areas such as the restaurant, bar, banqueting, and events. This role offers you a unique platform to demonstrate your exceptional leadership abilities, and talent for providing extraordinary guest experiences that will leave a lasting impression.

The Role

  • Base salary of $85,000 + Super & Accor Global Staff Discounts
  • An excellent career advancement opportunity for a current Food & Beverage Assistant Manager or Food & Beverage Manager looking for a change of environment
  • Onsite accommodation available within a shared cottage, with private bedroom & ensuite, communal living and cooking areas for added convenience and comfort
  • Work in partnership with our highly supportive General Manager

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operational aspects of the Food & Beverage Department and develop innovative and insightful strategies for optimising guest experience and revenue growth opportunities
  • Leverage your extensive expertise to guide and mentor your team, ensuring they consistently craft memorable moments
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef in creating menus, wine lists, and beverage offerings
  • Manage all administrative and planning aspects of the department, including but not limited to scheduling, reporting, package and promotion development, recruitment, personnel management, inventory management, and ordering

Skills and Experience

  • Prior experience as either a Food & Beverage Manager or Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
  • Robust leadership skills to engage, inspire, and cultivate your team, fostering a positive workplace atmosphere
  • Proven track record in managing budgets, overseeing inventory, and creating staff schedules
  • Effective communicator with adept skills in stakeholder management, both internally and externally
  • Flexibility to accommodate a varied work schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a knack for prioritisation and a keen sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectiveness when faced with high-pressure situations
  • Possession of a valid NSW RSA
