Qualifications and skills
Grade 12
National diploma in hotel catering or equivalent
Good finance acumen with attention to detail regarding food costs
Eight years’ experience in catering/industrial field/resale
Valid driver’s licence
Managerial experience
Adaptability to various working areas and conditions
Clean criminal record
Fluent in English
Must be able to work flexible hours
Responsibilities
Ensure daily communication with heads of departments and superiors
Control processes related to cost of sales (COS) to achieve monthly budgets
Ensure daily sales align with income statements
Verify hygiene standards and food quality align with company standards
Monitor training needs and ensure on-the-job training is conducted by relevant personnel
Verify all human resources processes are managed effectively
Verify the accuracy of supplier invoices and stock system data
Oversee handover, reporting, and control documentation
Ensure health, safety, and hygiene processes and procedures are managed in compliance with standards
