JOB SUMMARY
Bigwin Island Golf Club is seeking a F&B Supervisor with a positive attitude and attentive approach to complement its high-performing F&B team. As an integral member of the Front of House Management Team, the ideal candidate will have F&B experience with the ability to use their exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to provide an outstanding Member/Guest experience and lead a team of F&B Servers.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hospitality professional with a strong desire for career/skills development
- Previous serving/bartending/supervision experience at a golf course is an asset
- Work variable shifts throughout our golf season (availability from May-October is preferred)
- Capable to work within each of our Food and Beverage outlets (Marine Dining Room, Dockside Lounge and Event Room)
- Ability to multi-task
- Impeccable attention to detail and cleanliness
- Work collaboratively in a team setting
- The ability to remain pleasant and diplomatic under pressure
- Ability to operate golf cart
- Previous experience in the Private Club industry is considered an asset.
- Valid Canadian work permit required

Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet all guests in a welcoming, caring, and professional manner
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards
- Operational functions of POS system
- Handle guests concerns, questions or comments with tact and prompt follow-up
- Monitor overall cleanliness of all dining outlets
- Ensure opening, closing and side duties are completed
- Assist with receiving incoming deliveries
- Assist in the preparation, set-up and maintenance of event areas
- Develop and provide ongoing mentorship to motivate the team to do their best
- Adhere to written standards of operations, policies, manuals, and employee handbooks
- Other duties as required
