Description:

RAC Karri Valley Resort is located in the beautiful Southwest region of WA, approximately 3.5 hours’ drive from Perth and just a short drive from Pemberton town centre.
We are currently looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to live at our resort and work full-time hours. The Lakeside Restaurant at RAC Karri Valley Resort offers not only breathtaking views of Lake Beedelup, but also a tantalising menu hand selected by our Head Chef and their team, who take pride in choosing only the best of the Great Southern Forest Food & Wine region.

What will you be doing?
As a Food & Beverage Supervisor at RAC Karri Valley Resort, you will be a key player in ensuring our food and beverage services run smoothly. You will oversee and support our team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff while upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional service, quality, and safety at our beautiful Lakeside Restaurant.

In this role you will:

  • Lead, train, and mentor the food and beverage team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure that guests receive courteous, efficient, and friendly service, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Implement and uphold stringent quality control standards for food and beverages.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests professionally and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute operational strategies aligned with our resort’s goals.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations and cleanliness standards.
  • Act as a point of contact for the team, resolving any issues and cultivating a positive working environment.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, enhancing our guests’ experiences.
  • Contribute to cost control and revenue generation through effective budget management and upselling.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Minimum 6 months previous experience as a Food and Beverage Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Interest in stepping into a Supervisory position
  • Immediate availability
  • Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations, including food safety and quality standards.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
  • Approved Managers certification
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Availability to work a range of hours including weekends and public holidays.
