Job Title: Food and Beverage Assistant
Location: Lough Erne Resort, Enniskillen, Northern Ireland
Reports to: Food & Beverage Manager
Job Summary:
Lough Erne Resort is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our Food & Beverage team as Food and Beverage Assistants. In this role, you will deliver exceptional service to all guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. This position involves serving food and beverages, attending to guest needs, and maintaining a high standard of service in line with the resort’s luxury reputation.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant, hotel, or resort is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and to follow instructions.
  • A positive attitude and passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Present menus, answer questions, and provide recommendations based on guests’ preferences.
  • Take accurate orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
  • Clear tables and ensure the dining area is kept clean and tidy throughout service.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and resolving any issues.
  • Maintain knowledge of the resort’s menu offerings, including daily specials and promotions.
  • Follow health and safety standards, including food hygiene regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with setting up and closing down the restaurant or function areas as required.
