HOW YOU’LL SHINE

Beaches @ Club Wyndham Seven Mile Beach are looking for an experienced individual to fill a Supervisory role within our Food & Beverage department.
This role will see the successful candidate let their vast skill set shine in Functions & Restaurant Supervision. Your week will focus on planning & executing events across the property, as well as playing an integral part in elevating the experience in the restaurant.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

  • You will be the primary point of contact for clients on their event days
  • Manage event setup and breakdown, ensuring all details are executed flawlessly.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Oversee operations of Beaches Restaurant, ensuring exceptional service
  • Handle operational duties including opening and closing procedures
  • Assist with roster planning, ordering & social media content.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Previous experience in a similar role / Food & Beverage environment within a Resort or Hotel at a supervisory level.
  • Previous leadership or management experience
  • Hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification
  • A current Food Safety Certificate
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction
  • A passion for everything food and beverage and sound knowledge to back that up
  • A hands-on leader, who leads by example, builds a strong team culture and sets the scene for high performance
  • A positive and proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure & problem solve
  • Excellent grooming standards, professionalism, and reliability
  • The ability to work a flexible roster, across all days including weekends, days, evenings & public and/or school holiday
