Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Lead the F&B Events operations team by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising talented personnel and ensuring processes are in place to develop staff.
  • Hands-on management of the day to day floor operations of the Food and Beverage department.
  • Drive a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Quality control of front of house delivery and F&B logistics, including maintaining and managing inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure budget and customer satisfaction goals are met.
  • Establish and set targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure high levels of food safety compliance are in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Responsible for the appropriate and timely set up of all functions and meetings while maintaining the standards of food, beverage and meeting specifications.
  • Work closely with all key Hotel operational departments to ensure service execution whilst groups and functions/events are in house and in turn ensuring consistent clients satisfaction.
  • Manage procurement for the venue ensuring cost of food and beverage consumption does not exceed the established target.
  • Manage all maintenance protocols (preventive and repairs).
  • Management of contractors and supplier relationships and contract deliverables
