JOB SUMMARY/BASIC FUNCTION
Assist the Director of Student Health Promotion and Graduate Assistants with Food Pantry daily operations, such as: shelving and organizing food & products, food & product pick up from food drives, food & product drive promotion, checking out/assisting food pantry users while using the pantry, keeping users information confidential, answering telephones, filing, other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of documents, including inventory, donation logs, and supplies necessary for operations
- Preparing and submitting daily/weekly reports for staff with up to date records of pantry usage Implement proper food handling procedures
- Picking up donations from donation bins and food drives, as needed
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service
- Respect and maintain the privacy and confidentiality of staff and student
- Participate in all staff meetings, seminars, and staff orientation meetings and workshops
- Provide training to volunteers, ensuring safety, efficiency and effective communication
- Provide timely communication to coworkers, supervisors, and clients
- Manage and strive to provide an attractive, pleasant, safe, and well‐maintained environment Represent The Sycamore Pantry/Student Health Promotion to parents, guests, and members of the University community
- Makes referrals to other University and community agencies as needed
- Collaborate with other departments and offices to implement programming/educational efforts
- Be aware of and encourage involvement in other programs on campus and in the community
- Assist with assigned special projects and office initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Food & product pick up from food drives – Must be able to lift 25 lbs.;
Food & product drive promotion;
Checking out/assisting food pantry users while using the pantry;
