Job Type: Full Time, Monday to Friday, some Saturdays. Start time 7:00am
Work Location: 4951A, 78 St., Nossack Fine Meats, Red Deer, Alberta
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Minimum Credentials: Grade 12 Diploma
Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred
Starting Wage: $18+ per hour
Objective: Make delicious meats such as sausages, hams, roast beef etc.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Transport raw materials throughout plant and warehouse manually, or with powered equipment.
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines.
  • Feed and unload food processing machines.
  • Clean work areas and equipment.
  • Check products for basic quality defects.
  • Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.

Qualifications: Experience as a laborer in food or beverage processing plant is considered an asset.

  • Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • English level 4 (minimum) is required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
