We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Food Promotions Administrator to join our Food Promotions Department. The Food Promotions Administrator will be responsible for conducting and maintaining product data and preparing reports. We are looking for someone who can effectively communicate with internal and external parties in a positive and professional manner while working under pressure and multitasking in a fast-paced environment. The Food Promotions Administrator will report directly to the Food Promotions Planner.

What you’ll do

  • Maintenance of our product and supplier database
  • Coordinating between departments and operating units in resolving day-to-day administrative and operational problems
  • Working together with the Food Promotions Planner to ensure the successful execution of planned promotions
  • Liaising with suppliers and buyers both nationally and internationally
  • Managing incoming calls and emails ensuring they are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner
  • Managing order process and delivery issues
  • Sample management
  • Checking advertising
  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports for internal departments and our international counterparts in Germany
  • Preparation of stock for withdrawal
  • Assisting line manager and team members with ad hoc administration duties and projects

What you’ll need

  • Ensure work is carried out and completed in a controlled, compliant, timely and accurate manner with emphasis on attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working under pressure and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates initiative and commitment to problem solving
  • Exceptional organisational, analytical and data management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS office (in particular Excel) and technical aptitude
  • A third-level degree is beneficial but not essential
  • German is an advantage but not essential

  • €35,500 rising to €48,000 after 3 years
