Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the food safety and quality management system SS 620:2016 and HACCP principles, adhering to local and international food safety regulations, Halal and Bizsafe.
  • Manage the calibration and maintenance of critical control point (CCP) equipment.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and inspections of the central kitchen and supermarket counters to ensure compliance with the FSMS and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present monthly food safety performance reports, audit reports, and trend analysis reports to management.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for production staff, retail staff, and management on food safety protocols, best practices, and relevant regulations. Create training modules, SOPs, and visual aids.
  • Lead investigations into food safety incidents, including customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Conduct mock recalls.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and safety of raw materials. Conduct supplier audits and risk assessments, maintain an approved supplier list, and negotiate quality agreements.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest food safety regulations and industry best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,200.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary

Education:

  • GCE ‘A’ Level or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • food safety and quality assurance: 1 year (Required)
