REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in engineering (chemical / biomedical), manufacturing, industrial management, or a related field.
  • Min 3 years of experience in quality project management, preferably in food/pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • Good practical knowledge of GMP in food / pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Good leadership and problem-solving skill.
  • Good communication and report writing skill.
  • Good project management skill.
  • Team player with initiative, drive, good communication skills and a strong command of written English.
  • Knowledge in HACCP and risk assessment.
  • Knowledge in food engineering and experience in a dairy / nutritional industry would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge and experience in driving cultural changes in organization is preferred.
  • Kindly note this position is based in Tuas and it is a 12-month contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish project milestones and ensures tracking for timely completion.
  • Training of cross functional team on the new Food Safety initiatives.
  • Implement Change Management Tools (example, CLRS) to ensure successful roll out of Food Safety initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency and cost for the plant.
  • Establish Standard Operating Procedures for new Food Safety initiatives.
  • Implement improvements to site HACCP and risk assessment.
  • Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
