We have an opportunity for a Food Safety and Quality Retail Coordinator to join our team in Dublin. The role will be a blend of operational/retail and office work, based in Lucan.
As, Food Safety and Quality Retail Coordinator you will ensure that ensure that Food Safety & Quality activities within Company Owned stores are effectively managed and co-ordinated across the business thereby ensuring that Retail Food Safety standards are best in class at all times. The role includes specific operational activities as well as long term strategic development projects
You will be responsible for aligning the Musgrave technical policy requirements to food safety legislative requirements and ensuring that the customer and industry food safety standards are met.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years’ experience in Food Technical Role
- Proven track record in managing food safety and compliance in a retail / manufacturing environment
- Strong technical food functionality knowledge, Practical knowledge of food microbiology
- Working knowledge of HACCP planning and its application
- Competent with multiple software platforms including Teams, Powerpoint, Power BI platforms, auditing software
- Flexible approach
- Train the Trainer qualification and experience in training operational colleagues
- Ability to manage a busy workload, prioritise effectively and deliver high quality results
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build relationships
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Food Science / Food Technology degree or higher, or similar qualification
- Own Transport and full clean drivers licence
Desirable
- Auditing experience in food manufacturing or retail context
- Delivering and design of training modules
