Food Service Associate Dishwasher PRN Days

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous food service experience preferred but not required.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Food Service Associate (Dishwasher) is primarily responsible for collecting and washing and sanitizing kitchen equipment. They perform cleaning on various equipment and work areas, prepare food and retrieve patient food trays.
Position will be scheduled on an as needed basis. Shifts can include weekends, weekdays or holidays.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organizational Mission, Core Values, and Vision in behaviors, practices, policies and decisions.
• Ability to disassemble and reassemble machines to keep equipment clean.
• Must be able to operate equipment used by Food Service staff.
• Competency in basic reading and oral communication required.
• Prepares and assembles food items for patients on regular and modified diets, as well as for cafeteria customers.
• Delivers and retrieves patient food trays. Serves food items to cafeteria customers.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas.
• Assists in dish room as needed.
• May be required to shuttle food products to off campus locations (if this is a requirement of the position then a driver’s license record will be required and a valid Idaho Driver’s License).
