This is full time position that will work 40 hours per week between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:45 pm. Rotating weekends and holidays required!

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meal Selections & Tray Passing: Assist with meal selections, stock pantries, and pass meal trays to patients.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Utilize your customer service skills to ensure guests are happy with their food service experience.
  • Timely Meal Delivery: Deliver and serve nutritious and attractive meals promptly.
  • Food Safety: Practice proper food handling techniques and adhere to food safety procedures.

KEY DUTIES:

  • Hand Hygiene & Infection Control: Consistently follow hand hygiene and infection control procedures when interacting with customers.
  • Equipment Operation: Adhere to department procedures for operating all food service equipment.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate customer complaints and concerns with other healthcare team members.
  • Sanitation: Perform sanitation tasks for your assigned work area according to departmental and health department guidelines.
  • Patient Identification: Serve patient meal trays using the designated department script, ensuring proper patient identification.
  • Menu Distribution: Distribute and collect menus from patients, obtaining their selections according to departmental procedures.
  • Customer Service: Display excellent customer service skills when responding to meal service requests, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Meal Standards: Serve meals within established timeframes, maintaining standards for appearance, food quality, and temperature control.
