OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food is prepared and served according to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a positive work environment while delivering exceptional service to our guests. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in the food industry, hospitality, and team management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling practices, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Experience in restaurant management or bartending is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.

    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $27.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily food service operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and consistency in all dishes served.
  • Maintain inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the hotel or restaurant to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health regulations.
