Description:

FOOD SERVICES ASSISTANT

Flexible part time shifts available. The shifts range in length, 3 to 4 days per week.
As part of the committed staff in our Food Services Team, you will play a major role in ensuring that food is prepared and served to our residents and patients as per our policies and procedures.
You should have the ability to work within a team or independently in a busy hospital and aged care environment. If you are self-motivated and dedicated, we offer a supportive working environment and flexible working hours within a great team who go out of their way to serve our community and create a great experience for our patients, relatives/ carers and other health care providers.
The key parts of this role involve preparing and serving food, setting up the dining room for meals, collecting plates and taking them to the kitchen to be cleaned and serving food on trolleys.
A Health & Community sector, Food Safety Practices Certificate is required and we will support you to obtain this qualification. Past experience in a similar role is preferable, however full on the job training is provided.
Salary Packaging is available for this role.
