ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking an efficient and professional Food Services Assistant to join our Food Services Team at our Moran Engadine home, nested in an urban setting near recreational and social venues.
You will work with enthusiastic and diverse people in modern facilities, and you will be supported to develop your skills.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Interested in food, nutrition, or general well-being and their benefits
- Interested in working as part of a team in a kitchen environment
- A person who takes pride in what they do
- Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
- Must have a valid work permit and a current police check
- Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination including booster

Responsibilities:
- Plating food at mealtimes
- Preparing food under the direction of Chef
- Keeping your assigned work area clean ready for handover to the next shift
- Restocking supplies and receive goods
- Recording temperatures, complete checklists
- Maintaining personal hygiene standards
- Working as a member of the Food Services teams
