Salary: Scale 3, £24,790 - £25,183 FTE
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week, term-time only
Location: NUAST, Nottingham

We are looking to appoint a dynamic Food Technician to assist curriculum leaders and teachers to deliver successful practical lessons in food. Our Food department is an important part of our Engineering Faculty which has impressive facilities.

Your main responsibilities within this role will be:

  • To prepare equipment, ingredients and materials, including handouts, required for demonstrations and for practical work and dismantling and storage after use.
  • Ordering (mostly online) of ingredients for all practical and demonstration food lessons
  • To keep surfaces, cookers, sinks and technology equipment clean, to include weekly clean of fridges
