JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Foreign Exchange Operations Process Monitoring Analyst to join our Operations Foreign Exchange Risk team. In this role you will acts as a risk resource/analyst for the Foreign Exchange Operations business unit to ensure compliance with applicable controls, policies and regulations. The Process Monitoring Program currently covers Exam Management, Document Management, Issue Management, as well as Control Development and Control Monitoring for our assigned business unit(s). Will be involved in a variety of risk projects and initiatives regarding Foreign Exchange control frameworks (SOX, RCSA, ECRA, EFCC and FRRC).

  • Conduct monitoring of existing eGRC controls and processes.
  • Identify exceptions during monitoring activities and communicate/escalate appropriately to relevant stakeholders (e.g., production managers, risk partners, etc.)
  • Assist in gathering samples and commentary for audit and exam requests.
  • Perform procedure reviews and provide risk-related credible challenge and feedback.
  • Research and answer risk-related questions from the business unit(s).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically two to three years of experience in regulatory compliance activities

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Effective computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to review controls and high-risk processes and communicate exceptions.
  • Ability to start initiatives, with a drive for results with moderate guidance.
  • Self-motivated and highly organized.
  • Basic knowledge of U.S. Bancorp operations, policies, procedures and control frameworks.
  • Familiarity of capital markets operations, and/or the regulatory requirements for Foreign Exchange and Derivatives products.
