KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or similar
- CA qualified, or working towards qualification
- Previous experience as Financial Analyst or similar
- Outstanding spreadsheet skills using MS Excel or similar.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting terminology, practices and conditions.
- Strong analytical and mathematical ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyse financial risks losses, including business interruption, stock, fidelity, product recall, product guarantee, by investigating claims through detailed analysis of accounting records, external sources & general enquiry
- Prepare very high-quality spreadsheet analysis of information provided by others
- Investigate and assess financial insurance losses as directed by other staff
- Gather evidence and assist in preparation of expert witness reports for use in legal proceedings
- Maintain company reputation and insurance product integrity by complying with federal and state regulations and corporate quality standards
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education
