KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or similar
  • CA qualified, or working towards qualification
  • Previous experience as Financial Analyst or similar
  • Outstanding spreadsheet skills using MS Excel or similar.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting terminology, practices and conditions.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical ability
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analyse financial risks losses, including business interruption, stock, fidelity, product recall, product guarantee, by investigating claims through detailed analysis of accounting records, external sources & general enquiry
  • Prepare very high-quality spreadsheet analysis of information provided by others
  • Investigate and assess financial insurance losses as directed by other staff
  • Gather evidence and assist in preparation of expert witness reports for use in legal proceedings
  • Maintain company reputation and insurance product integrity by complying with federal and state regulations and corporate quality standards
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education
