YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You’re probably a match if you have:

  • Diploma in technical accounting or DEC in accounting (new graduates are welcome);
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an accounting technician position;
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a hybrid environment;
  • Advanced knowledge of the Office Suite, particularly Excel, including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and advanced charts;
  • Attention to detail, rigor, proactivity, and autonomy;
  • A strong affinity for numbers;
  • Willingness to learn and improve.
  • Proficiency in French and English, to effectively interact with all our clients in Quebec and beyond.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Forensic Accounting Technician at Forvis Mazars, you will be an integral part of our financial advisory services team, contributing to our mission of providing top-notch crisis management and dispute resolution services.
Your role will involve preparing and tracking invoices, managing transactions and client records in a CRM, preparing various reports for the department head, managing expenses, assisting the team with financial statements, extracting reports, tracking sales files, and performing analyses and related tasks.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare invoices and account statements, track customer payments and advances, and update tracking reports;
  • Manage the tracking of mandate transactions, including file closures and compensations;
  • Create and maintain client and mandate records in a CRM;
  • Prepare various reports, such as sales reports, percentages, and statistics, for the department head;
  • Manage the department head’s expenses;
  • Assist the team with financial statement entries;
  • Extract reports from IBIS World;
  • Track the department head’s sales files;
  • Perform various analyses and reports;
  • Perform any other related tasks.
