Description:
We are searching for a Forensic Planning Consultant to join an established Dispute Resolution Consultancy based in Leeds. This is an opportunity with the potential for growth and development towards director level positions.
- Up to £80,000 pa, Dependent on Experience
- Leeds Based - Hybrid working (home/office) – Candidates must be within commutable distance

KEY SKILLS:
- 10+ years post degree experience in live project environments; ideally as a planner/project controls manager or similar.
- MSc or Postgraduate Diploma in Construction Law or similar.
- Expert understanding of dispute resolution procedures and contract law principles.
- Major construction and engineering project experience.
- Experience of and ability to operate Standard Forms of Contract (JCT/NEC/FIDIC).
- Ability to prepare, assess, and interrogate construction programmes utilising various software.
- Competence in consolidating, manipulating, and interpreting large datasets.
Responsibilities:
- Forensic analysis of; tender, contract and claims documentation; programmes in accordance with Society of Construction Law guidelines.
- Independent preparation of; claims for time and delay; adjudication documentation.
- Drafting written reports, setting out process, conclusions and recommendations.
- Providing strategic and consultative advice through all stages of the construction project life cycle.
- Actively contributing to business development, bringing in new clients and projects.
