BRICKWORKS QLD IS SEEKING A SKILLED AND SAFETY CONSCIOUS FORKLIFT OPERATOR TO JOIN OUR AUSTRAL BRICKS TEAM IN ROCKHAMPTON.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for unloading and loading product, storing product safely and appropriately. Ensuring pallets are correctly wrapped and labelled. Maintaining a clean site with daily housekeeping activities.

SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Forklift License: Essential. Linde forklift experience preferred but not essential.
• Current Driving Licence: Required for the role.
• Forklift Expertise: Demonstrated skills in operating forklifts, especially with heavy vehicle loading.
• Safety Commitment: A strong commitment to WHS policies and procedures.
• Team Player: Willingness to work collaboratively in a small team.
• Time Management: Excellent time management skills to ensure timely yard movements and operations.

• Forklift Operation: Driving single tyne forklift to load and unload racks of products safely.
• Product Handling: Ensure pallets are correctly wrapped and labelled whilst maintaining accurate pallet stock counts.
• Stock Coordination: Manage incoming and outgoing stock orders efficiently.
• Housekeeping: Daily scheduled clean-up & housekeeping tasks.
• Pallet Loading: Efficiently and safely loading the pallet magazine as required.
