Operator is responsible for using forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product and materials

    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

  • Forklift: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick up according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
  • Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
  • Checking loads are secure
  • Stacking empty pallets
  • Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
  • Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
  • Assist in physical inventories
  • Ensure proper stock rotation
  • Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
  • Open bales, crates and other containers
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat, Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
  • Wear the proper safety equipment
  • Must review all instructions and follow through
  • Accurate documentation per load
