Forklift Operator-Put Away Associate

The Put Away Associate is responsible for unloading product using a forklift or pallet jack and is also responsible for stocking produce in appropriate storage room (vegetable, wet room, banana, etc.). The Put Away Associate works under the Shipping Department but also provides support to the Receiving and Repacking/Reconditioning, Berries Departments as needed. This position also is responsible for the cleanliness and stocking of the assigned product rooms.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent RCP in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
• Works in the Warehouse to assist with unloading, bring stocked items down using the forklift. May also assist in tagging and marking inventory as received.
• Responsible for the daily upkeep of an assigned product room (vegetable, wet room, banana, etc.) Must ensure that the product is properly rotated, the rooms are clean and free of safety hazards and debris, and that product is properly stocked.
• Provides support to the Shipping/Receiving Department by moving product with forklift as needed.
• Provides support to the Repacking/Reconditioning, Berry Department as needed.
• Ensures that all safety procedures are followed and that product is rotated and well stocked throughout the warehouse and annex facility.
• Perform other related tasks, as requested by supervisor.
