Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Visual Inspection Operator is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and assisting with equipment setup/startup. You will also assist with leading the flow of a VI line, GMP documentation, in process troubleshooting, breakdown investigations, and visual inspection activities.

  • Observe mechanical equipment in operation and follow good troubleshooting practices to optimize performance
  • Operate, recognize, and remedy quality problems, and perform changeovers and cleanups as required.
  • fill out departmental documentation correctly
  • Perform VI line operation, including operating/monitoring equipment, inspection, and if needed manual visual inspection of vials.
  • Assist in Line Clearances between batches, follow cleanup sheet directions, follow verbal orders or requests from group leader/supervisor, and perform other duties as required
  • Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities.
  • Work with Supervisor, Unit Coordinator, & Mechanics to ensure that quality, waste and efficiency are meeting requirements.
  • Complete improvement activities on quality and work process efficiency.
  • Follow quality standards in accordance with company policy.

  • Experienced working in a related manufacturing line.
  • Basic knowledge and experience using manufacturing equipment & mechanical proficiency
  • Communicate effectively
  • Ability to read work instructions, and procedure manuals/diagrams
  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical production and packaging preferred.
  • Experience in Visual inspection activities
