Description:

Responsibilities:
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage administrative processes for obtaining statutory checks and references from From F assessments and Annual Reviews, liaising with relevant parties.
- Complete local authority checks for other authorities and agencies as requested.
- Establish a tracking and monitoring system for checks using the Empower record-keeping database.
- Design and analyse feedback forms and information leaflets, distributing feedback to managers
- Convene and execute Fostering and Adoption Panels within the required timescales.
- Prepare panel agendas, ensure quoracy, distribute invitations and panel bundles, take minutes, and prepare and distribute Agency Decision Maker sheets.
- Coordinate the foster carer annual review process, including sending information requests, ensuring completion, and uploading to the Empower database.
- Liaise with the supervising social worker and Independent Reviewing Officer to gather and submit all relevant information for foster carer annual reviews.
- Prepare review paperwork for foster carer attendance at Panel.
- Assist with administration of monthly Support Groups, including booking rooms, refreshments, logging attendance, and taking notes.
- Support the organization of training for foster carers and staff, including booking rooms, refreshments, allocating courses, liaising with trainers, preparing paperwork, logging attendance, and updating records.
- Arrange meetings across the Empower Family Group, including minute taking as required.
- Assist in the process of necessary checks for foster and residential children’s homes.
- Keep the Head of Fostering or the Children’s Residential Responsible Individual informed of any compliance barriers.
- Use various software packages (especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) for data management, document production, and presentations.
- Provide administrative and secretarial support, including organizing meetings, note/minute taking, record-keeping, photocopying, filing, and scanning documents.
- Stay updated on policy, procedure, or regulation changes affecting the service.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection requirements.
- Promote and implement all relevant Empower Family Group policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for personal professional development, participate in appraisals, and attend relevant training and development activities.
