North One is looking for a Founding Account Executive for SMBs to join our high performing team . We are a remote-first, venture-backed startup at the heart of the FinTech movement and we’re reshaping financial services and banking for small businesses across America. REQUIREMENTS

As a Founding Account Executive for SMBs, you would work company-wide to provide account management excellence to support the growth of the company.

Some of what you will be doing includes:

  • Collaborate with North One’s Leadership team to build the playbook for selling North One to prospective customers, and upselling existing customers on other North One features and products.
  • Review, qualify and connect with a daily queue of prospective customers.
  • Consult with prospective SMB customers to understand their business banking needs and guide them through the new account sign up process.
  • Maintain good pipeline hygiene in North One’s CRM.
  • Work with Customer Operations, Product and Marketing teams to refine messaging based on your learnings from prospect conversations.
  • Chase every single lead in your queue, every single day, and drive more businesses to apply for a North One account.
  • Your job won’t just be to sell to new customers, it will also be about building customer relationships and recognizing where there are opportunities to cross-sell and upsell North One’s products.

Responsibilities:

THE SKILLS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE -

  • Experience selling at a tech startup is a must. You’ve done this before. You understand that if you perform, you have the potential to significantly impact the growth of this business and make a real mark and you are deeply energized by that opportunity.
  • You have a minimum 3 years experience selling to SMBs.
  • You have a consistent record of meeting or exceeding your quota.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills; you can confidently speak to prospective customers.
  • You have familiarity working in HubSpot, Salesforce or a similar CRM.
  • You’re self motivated, proactive, have an owner mentality and a deep desire to win.
  • Some experience upselling and cross-selling existing customers is a significant asset.
