Tasks
As our Founding Head of Engineering, you’ll be the technical backbone of our company. The company is based in Berlin and has recently been founded. The founder is a seasoned CEO who has built two profitable companies and raised +15m in venture capital. We are currently assembling an A-team of specialists, starting with the magic trio of product, design, and engineering, to bring the vision to life.

Requirements

• Full-stack development: You’re a master of building robust web applications, from frontend to backend. Proficient in frameworks like React, Node.js, and databases like PostgreSQL.
• Cloud infrastructure expertise: You’re comfortable navigating cloud platforms like AWS, Heroku, or Azure to deploy and scale our application.
• Travel enthusiast: You have a genuine passion for exploring different cultures and seeking adventures.
• Founding spirit: You’re excited about the opportunity to join a startup, own equity, wear multiple hats, and shape the company’s direction.
• In-person collaboration: You enjoy working in an office environment for crucial discussions and regular meetings with the founding team during the Product-Market-Fit stage.
• Language proficiency: Fluent in German and/or English.
