FP&A Analyst (12 month contract)
The role:
This is a very exciting role that is positioned at the cusp of where business planning conversations and decisions are being made in a dynamic, fast paced, multinational environment. This role reports into the Europe FP&A Manager and will involve working with the FP&A team and all areas and levels of the European business. The role will involve ensuring the accuracy of departmental cost accounts while also working to develop efficiencies in the key processes across the FP&A team and other finance functions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide business planning support to departmental budget owners by developing comprehensive cost budgets.
  • Operate necessary planning systems to submit plans and forecasts at required milestones.
  • Assist with the preparation of plan, forecasts, strategic plans, including preparation of ad hoc analyses.
  • Deep dive where necessary to analyse particular areas of the business which require attention.
  • Help prepare and present comprehensive analysis comparing actual costs against budget to senior business and finance leadership through meaningful and detailed commentary.
  • Awareness and understanding of cost drivers and development of budgets and analysis of costs in line with same.
  • Work with other Finance teams to ensure smooth month end process while meeting all corporate finance deadlines.
  • You will be able to build a finance network liaising with accounts payable, payroll, business intelligence and HR teams. Delivering exceptional service to all internal customers.
  • Continuous focus on process improvement.

    You Are:

  • Ideally Qualified/Part Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA.

  • Experience in working within a Finance Group in a Multinational environment an advantage.
  • A self-starter who has strong planning and organisational abilities.
  • You are a highly structured and organised person that thrives applying these skills in an unstructured situation.
  • You are a team player and enjoy interacting with people.
  • You are an advanced excel user.
  • Experience working with Tableau or other visualisation tools strongly preferred
  • You are highly motivated with a willingness to learn.
  • You are an effective communicator.
