Job Description
Position Summary and Primary Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst provides planning, analysis and decision support and works closely with the FP&A Manager EMEA formulating the financial aspects of annual planning, forecasting, and strategic and tactical business decisions. The position will report to the FP&A Manager EMEA & APAC.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed commercial training, e.g. as an insurance and finance clerk, IT systems management, industrial clerk (m/f/d), or bachelor’s degree with a focus on finance and controlling.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

  • Effective oral and written communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical data
  • Ability to write in a clear and concise manner
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work with individuals in different locations at all levels of the organization.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, and disciplined in approach
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    Additional Information

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare summary of actual results and variance analysis for the month/quarter and present to the FP&A Manager
  • Active participation in the budget/forecast process at regional level & submission to the Global Rail Division
  • Preparing and provide regular Pulse update vs current Forecast & Plan
  • Publish standard month end & quarter end reporting
  • Co-design and further development of existing FP&A processes and procedures
  • Business Partnering for internal stakeholders (e.g. cost center managers)
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support as needed, including special projects
