SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE SOUGHT:

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA recently qualified or near qualified
• Strong IT, analytical and reporting skills
• Financial services industry experience preferable – ideally within retail banking
• Highly organised and methodical with an ability to see projects through to completion and an ability to prioritise a number of different tasks
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to liaise effectively with operational departments and build strong relationships across the bank
• MS Excel skills to pivot table and advanced formulae level
• Knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of current developments and trends in analysis and visual reporting

ROLE PURPOSE:

• Responsible for Financial Planning and Financial Analysis of the Bank and supporting the development of the business partnering function.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the production of the budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis including the continuous improvement of the existing budget and reporting system and models
• Produce daily dashboard and weekly management reports and support the automation of these reports
• Produce cashflow and capital forecasting
• Partner with divisional management and business analysts, to deliver insightful analysis and insights to the wider business
• Support implementation of a new financial planning system, ensuring successful delivery and use to improve the quality, rigour and speed of our analysis
• Provide cover for other Management Accountants and the FP&A Accountant
• Ad hoc projects
